The SoftScreen project builds upon the notion of “seeing” as an act of multisensory exploration tied deeply to imagination and multi-modal cognition.  Tactile-audio-visual sensations are used to create harmonious multisensory expressions of seeing virtual and imaginative worlds. The double-screened (visual and tactile) setup of the system also targets the body-mind as a whole which its sensory channels cannot be segregated and therefore has to be fully immersed in order for the user to feel present in a virtual world.
