• SoftScreen II

  • Ava Aghakouchak and Maria Paneta

The SoftScreen project is a series of prototypes exploring the relationship between human sight and touch. As all human senses are known to be tactile based, SoftScreen II uses tactile patterns of an inflatable soft robot to amplify user's experience of "seeing" evolving patterns and shapes. The tactile-visual screen was originally designed as a gadget for virtual reality headsets; however, its application seems to also include other topics.
